KIN Autumn 2008 Workshop

Developing and Sustaining a Knowledge Sharing Culture

Date: Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th September 2008 (with Roundtable and Masterclass on Sept 8th)

Venue: Scarman Conference Centre, University of Warwick

The KIN Autumn Workshop theme is 'Developing and Sustaining a Knowledge Sharing Culture.

Culture is often sited as the catch-all category to account for the failed efforts to promote Knowledge Management initiatives and Knowledge Sharing behaviours within organisations.  At this 1.5 day workshop we will explore what we actually mean by the term 'Culture' in relation to knowledge sharing practices and will examine the present and planned activities of KIN members to enable them to deliver sustained behavioural change.

In addition to the main workshop on the afternoon of Tuesday 16th September and all day Wednesday 17th September, a pre-workshop roundtable and Master-class will take place on 8th September. We will have a carefully balanced mix of case-studies, practical activities and thought-leading speakers. The Workshop is a Member-only event, however if your organisation feels able to both contribute and benefit from Network participation, we welcome attendance on the basis of intended membership.
